(28 March 2008) – Spirit of Daytona Racing set a new high in the development program for the Porsche-powered FABCAR by scoring sixth in qualifying for the GAINSCO Grand Prix on Friday as Guy Cosmo set a fast lap time of 1:14.043-seconds at Homestead Miami Speedway. The third row start marks the best qualifying result in the short history of the Porsche-powered FABCAR Daytona Prototype package, which is set for a third outing in Rolex Sports Car Series competition on Saturday afternoon.
