With J.C. France spending the weekend with his family, following the tragic loss t of family member Dr. Bruce Kennedy, Brumos Racing  called on Guy Cosmo to co-drive the team’s #59 car with Hurley Haywood for Friday night’s Rolex Grand-Am Series race at Iowa Speedway. Cosmo delivered.

“All-in-all, it was a great weekend,” noted Cosmo.  “Of course these were terrible circumstances and my condolences go out to JC and his family.  I'm glad I could help out and fill in for him. Meanwhile, this was a great opportunity for me to get familiar with the Brumos team. I want to thank Brumos Porsche, RedBull and Mike Colucci Racing for considering me.”

Guy arrived at Iowa Speedway with the unique status of being a winning veteran at the track, having already posted a win for 2007 at the venue. In the April 21st Koni Challenge race at Iowa Speedway, Cosmo took home a first place finish, racing for Fountain Motorspsorts in a BMW 330i.
