#127 BMW ST looks to bring Mid-Ohio momentum to the Glen.
When the Grand American Road Racing Association’s KONI Challenge Series returns to Watkins Glen this week, it will be the first time the GS and ST divisions share the same track since the season opener at Daytona. KONI Challenge Series competitors will participate in the same race for Saturday's three-hour Supercuts 200 at The Glen at Watkins Glen International, which begins at 3:30 p.m.
Coming off a 4th place win at Mid-Ohio and enjoying a string of top-10 finishes, Guy Cosmo and the #127 Fountain Motorsports BMW team head to the Glen residing in 4th place for the Championship standings.
“We’re in pretty good shape,” noted Guy Cosmo. “We’ve had some races where we feel we could have done better, but all-in-all, we’re extremely pleased with the team’s consistency and, more importantly, the crew’s tenacity. These guys refuse to give up no matter how tough things get.”
