For the Extreme Speed Motorsports team, drivers Ed Brown and Guy Cosmo delivered another impressive performance for the new team. Brown and Cosmo expertly maneuvered their 02 Ferrari around the 2.258-mile 13-turn road course until a clash with the No.61 Risi Competizione Ferrari in Turn 9 in the last minutes of the race knocked the car (with Brown driving) out of the competition.
